This project transformed an open-concept entry and dining space into a functional and versatile area. The existing pillars that separated the dining space from the living room and kitchen were removed, and new walls were added to create a dedicated bedroom, enhancing the home’s layout and privacy.
The outer section of the new space, near the front door, was repurposed into a stylish built-in mudroom unit. This unit features butcher block seating, ample storage options, and hooks for coats, all set against a wainscoting background for a refined and cohesive design. The result is a thoughtfully reimagined space that balances practicality and aesthetic appeal while maximizing the home’s functionality.
