Terms of Service

Welcome to Design & Remodel Brothers. By engaging in our services or purchasing materials from our showroom, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please review them carefully as they govern the relationship between you and Design & Remodel Brothers for all remodeling services and material purchases.

1. Scope of Services

Design & Remodel Brothers specializes in interior remodeling projects, including but not limited to:

  • Full interior renovations
  • Kitchen, Bathroom, Basement, and Full Home Remodels
  • Flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile installation, painting, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, full home remodeling, electrical work, plumbing, lighting installation, interior design consultation, space planning, drywall installation, demolition, insulation, window and door installation, custom carpentry, HVAC installation, roofing, exterior siding, deck and patio construction, appliance installation, and finishing work.
  • Material selection and purchases through our showroom vendor-relations

All services are subject to availability, and some projects may require a preliminary evaluation to determine
feasibility and cost.

2. Project Consultation and Estimates

Our team will conduct an initial consultation to understand your needs and preferences, either at one of our showroom locations or directly at the project site. After this consultation, we’ll provide a project estimate that includes labor and material costs. This estimate is based on the information gathered and may be adjusted if there are changes to the project scope, new details uncovered during the work, or unforeseen issues at the job site, such as hidden conditions behind walls.

3. Payment Terms

Our team will present the scope of the work and a list of materials that need to be purchased to the client. During the agreement session, the client will be notified of the phases and how the payment process will work.

3.1 Deposits

Deposits of each project will vary and will be presented in the agreement.

3.2 Payment Schedule

Payments will be structured based on project milestones, which will be outlined in the service agreement for each project. The final balance is due upon the start of the last milestone.

3.3 Materials Purchases

All purchases of materials from our showroom are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges once materials have been customized, cut, or installed.

3.4 Project Completion

Each project’s completion will require a walkthrough of the project site, reviewing the work with our Construction Manager. Upon inspecting and ensuring the work is completed, you will sign over the completion of the project, concluding the project.

4. Changes in Project Scope

Any changes to the original scope of work must be requested in writing and signed stating approval. Changes in the scope of the work may result in an increase in the project cost and timeline. A “CHANGE ORDER” will be provided for your approval prior to implementing any changes.

5. Warranties and Liabilities

5.1 Workmanship Warranty

We offer a one-year warranty on all labor and workmanship, effective from the date of project completion. This warranty applies to issues arising from improper installation or workmanship. However, it does not extend to damages or faults that result from circumstances outside of our control or from misuse, alteration, or inadequate maintenance on the part of the client.

5.2 Material Warranty

Material warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers & distributors. Design & Remodel Brothers is not responsible for defects covered under these manufacturer warranties; however, we would recommend that if a defect is uncovered after the completion of a project, please let us know for us to get in contact with the manufacturer or distributor to find a solution for you.

5.3 Liability

Design & Remodel Brothers is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from project delays, material shortages, or changes due to unforeseen circumstances. Our liability is limited to the cost of services and materials directly provided by us.

6. Property Access and Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for granting access to the property and ensuring all personal items are secured or removed from work areas. Design & Remodel Brothers is not responsible for any damage to unsecured items left in the work area.

7. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time, with written notice. If the client terminates the agreement after the project has commenced, Design & Remodel Brothers reserves the right to retain a portion of the payment to cover costs incurred.

8. Acknowledgment
