This project encompassed a comprehensive bathroom renovation, focusing on modern upgrades and enhanced functionality. The scope began with a full demolition, including the removal of the shower, carpet flooring, knee wall, tub, shower tile, framed glass, toilet floor, vanity, mirrors, and light fixtures. Plumbing and electrical systems were disconnected and later reconnected, with tub electrical capped and covered, and a bath tub switch relocated for improved accessibility.
Preparations were made for installing new materials, including the floor, tub splash area, and shower floor and walls. Specific enhancements included creating a shower curb and a custom niche area on the shower wall. New tiles were installed throughout, including 24×24 floor and tub splash area tiles, 6×12 shower wall tiles, and penny tile for the shower floor, accent strip, and flood testing.
Upgrades also featured a new vanity installation with custom cabinetry, mirrors, and updated light fixtures. The shower received new plumbing with fixtures, faucets, and grab bars for added convenience and safety. Electrical enhancements included adding an outlet switch with dimmer functionality. The result is a beautifully updated bathroom with modern aesthetics, functional features, and meticulous attention to detail.
